Join in one of our short workshops and have a go at willow weaving. Or book onto more than one! Willow hearts are quite simple to make, and you’ll learn how to twine the willow around itself and secure it to create a beautiful heart shape. Next we’ll weave a willow fish and you’ll learn how to do a ‘natural’ weave going back and forth while keeping your fish shape. Finally we’ll make flowers which involves weaving with two willow rods at the same time. Once you’ve created the centre of the flower, you can add the petals in whatever shape you like.
