Imagine That – Character Design Studios- Perfect for young creators who love drawing, inventing worlds, and telling stories through their art.
This February half term join local artist Nicola Hutchinson for this exciting creative experience where imagination comes to life, and every idea becomes a character waiting to be discovered. Three sessions are available, tailored for ages 5–16.
Participants are invited to design their own original characters inspired by stories, games, fantasy worlds, and everyday imagination. From magical heroes and quirky creatures to bold cartoon personalities, each session encourages expressive drawing and storytelling through art. Through a step-by-step approach, we will explore character design by developing shape, personality, costume, colour, and a unique backstory to bring each creation to life.
These fun, engaging sessions are suitable for all abilities and encourage experimentation, confidence, and self-expression.
All materials provided. Snacks and drinks included. Please dress to get messy!
