Following a series of fruitful conversations with artists and others in the cultural sector, we're changing our plans around the Culture in a Cold Climate Conference on 16th October, which will now not take place on that date. We've had a lot of interest in this event, which has been funded by Ryedale District Council, and what we’re hearing is that people are more interested in a series of targeted conversations over a longer period of time, rather than a full single day-long event. We are now, along with our partners Ryedale Artworks, going to redesign our offer around what we still consider a crucial theme – how arts and business can work together to make this region thrive - and we will post news shortly with dates and details of the first of these events.
