Join us this Easter holiday for another exciting creative workshop with local artist Nicola Hutchinson. This time we will explore the many techniques of drawing and illustration and delve into a world of character creation. Together we will look at some well-known and obscure illustrators and consider their different styles. Nicola will encourage you to immerse yourself in the lives of your created characters through both drawing technique and storytelling. Whether you want to bring your favourite book characters to life or invent new ones, all ideas are welcome here. Be it creating whimsical animals, powerful cartoon characters or imagined comic book heroes and heroines. Let's make some memorable characters on paper and have a blast along the way!
All Materials provided- Please feel free to bring along a sketchbook if you currently have one at home but not necessary to the class.
All levels and abilities welcome, snacks and drinks provided, please dress to get messy.
