Francis Bacon, acknowledged as amongst among the most powerful painters of the twentieth century, was greeted with shock and horror and can still be difficult to understand and appreciate.
As an artist Bacon sought to express what it was to live in a world without a God or an afterlife. Sarah will enable us to enter Bacon's vision of the world.
