Welcome to the world of illustration! Artist and Illustrator Nicola Hutchinson hosts this exciting two-day workshop for students aged 11-16. Giving inspiration to draw, passing on techniques and hints about how to develop your own artistic style of work. This is a great way to explore the art of illustration and character design in a relaxed environment. We will communicate with our pens, creating unique work with a message and purpose. Students will be introduced to the many strands of illustration, using real life inspiration from a diverse range of illustrators, get to understand more deeply what illustration is and how it is used.
Learn new techniques, develop your own style, learn the power of the pen and create compelling impactful pieces you’ll be proud of. Students will create a unique body of art that expresses their talent and artistic identity. All levels and abilities welcome.
