Classes will resume June 21st
In view of the current Coronavirus epidemic we have made the decision for our participants, volunteers and our own health and safety to suspend delivery of all Musical Memories singing sessions throughout Ryedale with immediate effect until 30th April.
We will review the situation again towards the end of April and inform people of our decision to resume sessions or continue the suspension again by email / letter.
Please also keep an eye out for further updates via Facebook @MMCIC, Twitter @MMRyedale, and on our website www.musicalmemoriescic.org.uk
We are very sad to have to do this – especially as things have been going so well – but believe it to be in the best interests of everybody.
Wednesdays 10.30 til 12 noon | £4 per session | Jan 8, Feb 5, Mar 4 & Apr 1
Singing in a community group can benefit memory, health and well-being.
Fun, relaxed singing sessions with live music, specially adapted songbooks and songs which are transposed to make them particulary suitable for older voices.
Participants range from age 30 to 97.
‘We come here to meet other people, sing and enjoy ourselves.’ Mrs. C (87)
‘A wonderful way to relax – sing which we all know is so good for us – but also reminisce and share so much that we thought was forgotten’ Mrs. T
